Who were the Fabians?

The Fabian Society derives its name from the Roman general Quintus Fabius Maximus, known as Cunctator from his strategy of delaying his attacks on the invading Carthaginians until the right moment. The name Fabian Society was explained in the first Fabian pamphlet which carried this note.

We should currently be living in a constitutionally limited Monarchy with a democratic process of re-election of Parliament. However, most people do not even know we have a Constitution.
